Maria Halle Berry, better known as Halle Berry, is an American actress and film producer.

She was born on August 14, 1966, in Cleveland, Ohio, and grew up in the nearby suburb of Bedford.

Berry began her acting career in the 1980s and gained widespread recognition for her roles in films such as “Jungle Fever” (1991), “The Flintstones” (1994), and “X-Men” (2000).

Berry’s career has been marked by a number of accolades and accomplishments.

In 2002, she became the first African American woman to win an Academy Award for Best Actress, for her performance in “Monster’s Ball.”

She has also won a number of other awards throughout her career, including a Golden Globe Award and an Emmy Award.
